Our U12s Town side’s impressive unbeaten start to the season came to an abrupt halt with a 6-3 defeat in a tough match away to Huish Tigers.

The home team attacked from the first whistle, putting Wellington under constant pressure.

Huish Tigers left midfielder was a standout performer, causing problems throughout the game, and Wellingtons defence struggled to contain him.

Despite the loss, there were moments of brilliance. Freddie Andrews got on the scoresheet, while Theo Windsor added a second goal to keep the team in the fight.

The highlight of the match came from Mason Talbot, who smashed in his first goal for Wellington with a spectacular 20-yard volley.

Although their unbeaten run has ended, the team will look to bounce back and take the lessons from this game into their next fixture in the cup on Saturday.
