Western Counties Floodlit Youth League: Taunton Town U18s 3, Wellington U18s 0
Our U18s gave a good account of themselves before eventually going down to defeat in Taunton last night (Thursday).
They hit the post in the first half and went into the break 1-0 down.
Wellington shuffled the middle around and started to look much better, being on top for at least half an hour.
The Tangerines had plenty of shots before being caught on the break as Taunton extended their lead and then scored again at the end of the game.
Manager Wayne Oaten said afterwards: “The lads played really well.”
Next up is a trip to play Shepton Mallet U18s on Tuesday.
