Our Wanderers U13s are still undefeated this season after rounding off the year with a 6-3 win over Ashcott Thunder on Saturday.
In new kit, thanks to their sponsorship deal with RH Fibreboard, Wanderers started brightly with in-form striker Archie Winter bagging a hat-trick, assisted by Harley Worth.
Then Gwion Williams set up Harley to get one for himself before moving back to a more defensive position and later being named as man-of-the-match.
Ashcott got back into the game with their tall striker getting himself a hat-trick before Reece Richards finished well to make it 5-3.
Archie Winter then won a penalty, and his captain Archie Irwin blasted home the spot kick to complete the victory.
There were some really good performances, a lot of players are really developing well and have improved so much over the past few months.
After the game, the boys enjoyed a sausage roll and a doughnut back at the clubhouse where they each received a Christmas gift – a Wanderers snood made by Country Stitches.
