Our Wanderers U10 boys travelled to Axminster with a depleted squad, fielding just seven players due to unavailability.
Despite the challenge, they put in a spirited performance, showing glimpses of their usual passing style.
The team moved the ball well at times but struggled with tired legs as the game wore on. Luck was not on their side, as they struck the woodwork three times through Tom Kennen, Jude Norman, and Rex Beatty.
However, their perseverance paid off when Kennen found the net with a well-taken goal, providing a well-earned highlight in a lacklustre match.

A special mention also goes to the parents on the sidelines for their encouragement throughout the game. Their positive support kept the team going in challenging conditions.
