Wildcats U13s headed to sunny Bridgwater to take on Wembdon.

U13s – Jason Lockyer with London A.
The game kicked off with Wildcats playing creatively, passing and moving with purpose, regaining possession and being more than a match for their counterparts.
Wembdon earned a corner, and amid some commotion in the box, the ball found its way in.
Despite the setback, the Wildcats kept up their efforts, creating numerous chances against a good defence and found the keeper in fine form.
Wembdon played a long ball, and their striker outpaced the defence to score again. Following a drinks break, Wembdon added a third making it 3-0 at halftime.
Wildcats started off the second half with their keeper making an amazing save. The ball was cleared long to London, who brought it down beautifully, passing off to Cheyenne C and she broke through the defence to make it 3-1.
This really boosted the girls, and they had a couple more shots which just went wide before Wembdon managed to capitalise with a mistake near the end, making it 4-1.
Despite the score, this was the Wildcats’ best display of the season – well done girls!
A special shoutout to London A for being the player of the match.

Wildcats U14s made the long trip to Long Ashton on a fine spring morning.
Playing on an excellent pitch, Wildcats started brightly, using Lola S on the right wing to dominate possession and create some chances.
Emilia S was a threat and soon opened the scoring with a trademark finish inside the box. Keeping Ashton boxed in from a goal kick, Emilia S doubled her tally, neatly beating the defence.
Faith NH and Flo N played key roles in controlling the game and countering at speed. Ashton made a few breaks of their own but were thwarted by the Wildcats keeper and defensive unit.
The second half was played in similar fashion with Wildcats rotating players in the warmth. Faith NH had a couple of close efforts go wide, but Emilia S completed her hat-trick and 50th goal of the season with a 20-yard effort. FT: 3-0.
Player of the match was defender Immy M who demonstrated her abilities throughout with a strong performance, covering any danger.
A third place finish is now guaranteed with three games left to play and the girls will be pushing to move into runners-up spot.
