Our Wanderers U13 boys travelled to the Midlands recently to compete in a nine-a-side competition at Molineux Stadium, home of Wolverhampton Wanderers.

It followed last year’s successful trip to another Premier League club, Crystal Palace.

Wanderers played four games winning one, losing two and picking up one draw

Manager Seb Coe said: “The competition was very strong, playing against JPL and academy teams from Glasgow, Lancashire and Wales.

“All the Wanderers conducted themselves brilliantly on and off the pitch, representing the Wellington badge with pride and passion

Seb added: “We have already been invited back next year but will leave it down to the boys if they want to do another venue.

“It’s such an exciting competition and for the boys to play on a Premiership pitch is a treat they will never forget.”

Wanderers are holding their end-of-season presentations at the football club on Saturday, July 12th.
