Our Ability Counts section, which held its annual presentations at the weekend, is looking for new players.
The group welcomes adults and juniors (11 years upwards) with disabilities and other health issues.
It uses the 3G pitch at Court Fields School on Sunday afternoons and players also compete in the Somerset Ability Counts League.
The well-attended awards afternoon, held at the club, heard from all three coaches, who reported on another successful year.
Trophies were then presented and the winners were:

- Player of the Year, Leo.
- Manager’s Player of the Year, Lawson.
- Most Improved, Nathy.
- Golden Boot, Harley.
Adults
- Player of the Year, Rob Glover.
- Manager’s Player of the Year, Gary Corp.
- Most improved, Stephen Lethaby.
- Golden Boot, Bradley White.
Adults (Championship)
- Player of the Year, Conor Short.
- Manager’s Player of the Year, Nathan Bird.
- Most Improved, Jamie Berry and Martin Gadd.

The section is currently taking a short summer break but returns at Court Fields School on Sunday, September 7th (2pm to 4pm).
