Our mouthwatering local derby with Taunton Town in the second round of the Somerset Premier Cup will take place next week.
The sides will meet at the Peacocks’ Cygnet Health Care Stadium on Wednesday, November 5th, with a 7.45pm kick-off.
Meanwhile, the first team return to action this Saturday after an 11-day break when they host St Blazey at the Carly Press Ground in the premier division of the Jewson Western League.
The Tangerines had been due to play Street last weekend but the game was called off because the visitors’ FA Vase tie – originally abandoned because of an injury – was replayed then instead.
The match will now take place on Wednesday, December 10th.
Our local derby at home to Bridgwater United tomorrow (Wednesday, October 29th) has suffered a similar fate.
The Robins’ Les Phillips Cup fixture was rained off last week and has been rescheduled for that night.
Bridgwater will now visit the Carly Press Ground on Wednesday, December 3rd.
