It was a busy day at the Carly Press Ground yesterday (Saturday, March 28th) as we hosted Saltash United in the premier division of the Jewson Western League.
We welcomed more than 20 past players to their annual reunion with a fish and chips lunch in the clubhouse before the game.
Those present included four members of the side who won our first promotion to the Western premier in 1980-81 – Graham Aspin, Bob Cummins, Wayne Windsor and Chris Winter.
Meanwhile, players from our Wanderers U11s acted as mascots for the day (clip below).
They were also fundraising for Love Musgrove because their coach John Norman is cycling from London to Paris this summer in aid of the charity which supports Musgrove Park Hospital.
