Our Wildcats Ladies fell to defeat by Bridport on the Court Fields School 3G, despite taking a surprise lead into half-time.

Although much of the first half saw Bridport control possession, it was Wildcats who struck first.
Leah Morrell opened the scoring against the run of play, giving the hosts a 1–0 advantage at the break.
The second half told a different story. Bridport continued to dominate and turned the game around in style, scoring three long-range efforts — two from free kicks — and producing a performance which defied their league position.
Wildcats struggled to get into the game for long periods and were unable to respond as Bridport added to their tally.
Erin C was named player of the match, standing out defensively with a number of important interceptions and a determined display under sustained pressure.
The result leaves Wildcats in a difficult position, with the prospect of being drawn into a relegation battle if their form does not improve.
