These are exciting times for Wellington AFC – a family club which is truly at the heart of its community.
This season, we are running more sides than ever, offering football for children from as young as three up to our growing portfolio of adult teams.
The first team play in the Toolstation Western League premier division – taking on sides as far afield as Mousehole in Cornwall and Bitton in South Gloucester.
They are supported by our Reserves, A team and two Ladies’ teams to ensure adults of all abilities are fully catered for and developed.
Our thriving youth setup has no fewer than 30 boys’ and girls’ teams from under eights to under 18s – with weekly coaching sessions for even younger children – while we also run a popular Disability section.
Wellington AFC is FA Accredited (three stars), which underpins our work to both develop and look after our players, managers and coaches.
Even better news is that plans are taking shape for the provision of a new stadium on the outskirts of town at Longforth Farm – while retaining our current facility at the Playing Field.
