Wellington started their pre-season friendlies with a comfortable 3-0 win at Minehead, who play in the Somerset County League.
After a cagey opening, Wellington went ahead from the penalty spot midway through the first half.
Striker Jesse Howe played in skipper Glen Wright, who was sent tumbling to the ground and Howe coolly dispatched the resulting spot kick.
Howe doubled their advantage after the drinks break when he made room for himself before shooting home from a Josh Champion cross.
Defender Tom Davies completed the scoring before half-time with a thumping header from George Sinnott’s floated corner.
Wellington continued to dominate after the break without being able to add to their goals tally.
The squad included a number of new faces and boss Tim Legg will have been encouraged by the overall performance.
