A number of people have asked why tomorrow’s home game v Keynsham Town is kicking off at 2pm.

The reason is that at a meeting of the Toolstation League’s Board in September, the matter of club operating costs was discussed with the league wanting to do as much as it could to support clubs.

An email sent out afterwards said: “The initial step is that, as we move toward the winter months, we could remove the need to use floodlights. So it was approved that any Saturday matchday ko can be moved to 2pm with the agreement of both clubs.”

We will keep everyone fully updated on kick-off times which – for the rest of November – are as follows:

Tuesday, November 8th: Ilfracombe Town (away in the league), 7.45pm.

Saturday, November 12th: Royal Wootton Bassett Town (home in the Isuzu FA Vase), 3pm.

Tuesday, November 15th: Bridgwater United (away in the Les Phillips Cup), 7.45pm.

Saturday, November 19th: Saltash United (home in the league), 2pm.

Saturday, November 26th: Torpoint Athletic (away in the league), 3pm.
