We’re looking forward to hosting Royal Wootton Bassett Town in the second round of the Isuzu FA Vase at the Playing Field this Saturday, November 12th.
Our opponents, who beat Bridport 5-3 in the first round, are currently seventh in the Hellenic League premier division.
The winners of the tie will collect £900 with the losing club receiving £275.
We’re grateful to the ‘Bassett Ultras’ for reminding us that we have met (then) Wootton Bassett Town previously in the competition … 18 years ago!
It was in a qualifying round match at the Playing Field on September 12th, 2004, and we ran out 4-0 winners.
