We play our first Toolstation League match since mid-November with a trip to Buckland Athletic on Boxing Day (ko 1pm).

The Tangerines were named premier team-of-the-month in a fans’ poll after drawing 1-1 with leaders Saltash United and also knocking holders Bridgwater United out of the Les Phillips Cup.

But the home game against Saltash on November 19th was then followed by a series of cancellations

Joint manager Tim Legg said: “We’re looking forward to getting back playing again.

“Buckland is never an easy place to go but we’re hoping we will be able to pick up the momentum we had built before the break.”

“In terms of squad news, Joe Wragg’s work experience loan has ended and is back with Exeter City. We would like to thank him for his efforts and we will continue to support his footballing career which I’m sure will be a great success.

“On the positive side I’m delighted to welcome Ryan Brereton and Nathan Byrne.

“Nathan has come back to us recently having had surgery and he is raring to go again. He was a prominent figure for us last year and a big reason we had much success in the second half of the season.

“Ryan is a player I have admired for many seasons and is one of the best local talents in the area. He will add quality and a different dimension to our game.

“I am delighted with the squad we have. They are bright, energetic, ambitious and will continue to improve every game.

“I would like to close by saying thank you to all of our supporters, volunteers, and sponsors – your support is outstanding.

“The club continues to progress, thanks to the hard work from the volunteers and those behind the scenes.”
