Huge congratulations to our Wildcats Ladies who have clinched their league title today (Sunday, February 19th) without kicking a ball.
They have capped their first season by winning Division Two South in the Somerset County Women’s League.
Their nearest rivals Sedgemoor Rangers Ladies Blue needed to win this afternoon to still have a chance of pipping the Wildcats for the title.
But they could only manage a 2-2 draw away to Crewkerne Rangers Ladies and so trail by five points with only one game remaining.
Ironically, the two top sides meet in the season finale at the Playing Field on Sunday, March 5th.
