Huge congratulations to our U8s on completing a cup treble for our youth teams yesterday (Saturday, May 13th).
After the U15s and U13s won their finals, the squad travelled to Minehead for finals day with plenty of optimism.
Their semi-final was a tense affair, but Wellington overcame their nerves with a 3-1 win over Staplegrove thanks to goals from Rex Beatty (two) and Jack Jorge.
The final showed that Wanderers have more to their game than goals as they ground out a fantastic 1-0 win to lift the cup.
Tom Kennan making a fantastic save in the last minute combined with some solid defending by Logan Thorpe, Jude Norman and Harrison Thompson were the basis to the win.
The winning goal came courtesy of Jack with a fine strike to beat the keeper.
