Georgia Purdy, who plays for our Wildcats Ladies, is going on the run in May for a very worthy cause.
Georgia – who is also a referee, coaches our U13 girls and has just completed a referee mentoring course – is taking part in the Taunton Trail Run (10k) on Sunday, May 26th.
All proceeds from her effort are going to the Stroke Association, as she members of her family have been affected by strokes.
Georgia says: “I really want to get people to support this charity so families like ours and others, who may have had more severe strokes, get the support and help they need.”
She has set an initial fund-raising target of £350 – so let’s all get behind her and smash it!
