Our U9s travelled to Galmington for the second round of their cup in fresh conditions.
The boys did what they do best throughout the morning’s play, passing the ball round at ease and stretching their opponents all around the pitch.
Once again, every player played their part in a fantastic team performance as Wellington played four and won four with victories over Middlezoy 6-0, VPR 4-0, Galmington 1-0 and Bridgwater Wolves 4-1.
The goal scorers on the day were Rex Beatty (five), Jack Jorge (four), Harrison Thompson (two), Jude Norman, Louis Molloy, Fraser May and an own goal.
This was a fantastic team performance, and it is both pleasing and rewarding that opponents’ parents and managers are complimenting the boys on how they play.
Well done boys, bring on finals day again.
