Our thriving youth section has had another great season – with one of the sides clinching their league title last night (Wednesday, April 24th) and three teams in cup finals this weekend.

Leading the way are the U16s (pictured above), who have won their age group in the Taunton and District Youth League.

They clinched the title after a 2-2 draw against Elmore, thanks to a pair of goals from Nelson Taylor.

The squad, managed by Wayne Oaten, are on course for a remarkable treble with two cup finals still to come.

On Sunday, they take on Staplegrove Saints in the final of the league’s KO Cup at Taunton Town’s ground, ko 2.30pm.

The following Sunday, May 5th, the boys play Burnham United in the Somerset FA Youth Shield final at Middlezoy Rovers AFC.

Meanwhile, two of our younger sides are also bidding for cup glory this Saturday.

The U9s and U8s are both taking part in Finals Day at Minehead AFC, with the U9s playing in the morning and the U8s in the afternoon.

Good luck, everyone!
