Lauren Watts – our club’s Sports Therapist – swapped her football boots for dancing shoes at the weekend in aid of a cause very close to her heart.
Lauren organised – and took part in – a Dance-a-Thon at the Mad Hub in Taunton.
Her mum, Karen, suffers from multiple sclerosis and all proceeds are going to the MS Trust, with more than £850 raised so far.
Lauren said: “We danced for three hours solid and three different instructors – Emily, Aimee, Madeline – choreographed an hour’s dancing each.
“We had a about ten people taking part in the end, coming and going at various times.
£A huge thank you to everyone who has donated to the MS Trust through my fundraiser.
“It was a great, fun event for such an amazing cause.”
