We start a new season in the Toolstation Western League premier division tomorrow (Saturday, July 29th).

It’s a long trip for our opening game as we travel into Cornwall to take on Helston Athletic.

The Tangerines have a new management team after joint bosses Tim Legg and Alex Pope both stepped down at the end of last season.

Richard Cherry is now in charge, assisted by long-serving defender Jack Bown-Porter.

There have also been comings and goings on the playing side with some of last season’s squad leaving and being replaced by a number of new signings.

Tomorrow marks that start of three games in eight days – on Tuesday, we are at Shepton Mallet in the league.

Next Saturday, August 5th, we host Bideford in the FA Cup extra preliminary round – because of cricket at the playing field, the tie will be played at Willand Rovers.
