On a scorching Saturday morning, our U10 boys hosted a strong Lympstone side in their final fixture before Finals Day – and what a performance it was.
Despite the heat, Wellington played with exceptional energy, passing the ball around with confidence and style from start to finish.
The team put on a brilliant display of teamwork and determination, showing just how far they’ve come this season.
Every single player contributed, with solid defending, clever movement, and smart decision-making across the pitch.
Wellington’s goals came from Jack Jorge, who netted an impressive hat-trick, Rex Beatty, who added two more to his tally, and Fraser May, who capped off the scoring.
While the goals were superb, it was the all-round effort that truly stood out – a real team performance which left coaches and supporters proud.
The game was the perfect preparation for the forthcoming Finals Day, and the squad head into it full of confidence and momentum.
