Our Wildcats Ladies produced a commanding performance in the league cup away to Pen Mill Ladies Reserves.

The visitors set the tone immediately, scoring three goals in the opening three minutes to put the game firmly in their control.

From that point on, the Wildcats maintained their intensity, adding goals at regular intervals and ensuring their dominance was reflected on the scoreline.

Player of the match Tash Hole led the way with a superb four-goal display, showing her sharpness in front of goal and clinical finishing.

Leah Morrell and Milly Howe both netted twice, underlining the strength in depth across the squad. Further strikes came from Emily Ayers, Grace Winter, and a brace from Robyn Stockman, rounding off an emphatic team performance.

What was most impressive was the Wildcats’ ability to combine attacking flair with relentless work rate. The midfield dictated the tempo throughout, while the defence remained organised and resolute, ensuring the home side were given very few chances.

The result not only sees the Wildcats progress confidently in the cup but also highlights the team’s growing cohesion and confidence.

With so many players getting on the scoresheet, and a clean sheet to match the attacking display, it was a complete performance which reflects the progress being made this season.

This weekend, the Wildcats return to the same venue to face Pen Mill Ladies’ first team, who themselves recorded a 12–0 win in their own cup tie — setting up an intriguing clash.
