
Our U18s have an enjoyed an outstanding first half of their season.
A thumping 10-0 win over Frome Town at the Carly Press Ground took them to the top of the south division in the Western Counties Floodlit Youth League.
There was a double hat-trick for Sami Weir and the other goals came from skipper Harry Chetland, Chris Amponsah, Oliver Southcott and an own goal.
Their squad includes a number of players who have already appeared for our first team in the Jewson Western League and reserves in the Stitch2Print Devon & Exeter League.
The lads have now played eight of their scheduled 16 games, winning six and losing only two.
Next up is a local derby at home to Bridgwater United U18s on Tuesday, ko 7.30pm.
The following night, the two clubs’ first teams also meet at the Carly Press Ground, ko 7.45pm.
